**Job Overview:**
Antigua Doors (custom door and hardware retail store) is looking for an Retail Sales Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks and support our company’s senior-level managers. . To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support to Sales and Operation Managers. We are seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with a focus on providing our customers an exceptional experience designing their door and selecting hardware.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide information about products and services to customers
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable using Quickbooks
- Assist the Sales Manager with estimates, door orders and project management
- Process payments using credit/debit cards and other forms of electronic payment
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
**Qualifications:**
- Experience in retail sales, preferably in a technical sales or wireless sales environment
- Proficiency in sales procedures and operating credit card terminal
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers and vendors effectively
- Multilingual abilities, especially fluency in Spanish, is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to conduct product demos and explain technical features
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction from designing-building their door to delivering it to their josite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting and meet sales targets
